Atlanta is one of those cities where it thrives in the fall. During the Summers you can see the city heat up with highs in the mid to upper 80's. During the fall the weather reaches in the mid 60's. Once the weather hits towards October the weather is fantastic. Severe thunderstorms can be seen during the summer and is common to see. Other than that the amount of extreme weather is not bad. | | Atlanta is one of the hardest cities to live in if you're young. Before the new push to revolutionize and make Atlanta a more appropriate area of living, the crime rate was high and hundreds of people where the victims of crimes everyday. Things haven't changed much as rape, murders, and burglaries happen everyday. The trend is starting to be seen in the outward cities that surround Atlanta as the homeless are getting pushed out of the city. | | The best part of the area is downtown. All the private investors and big time celebrities are supporting the push to move the homeless out of downtown. Houses are lavish and amazing to look at. Most of the residential areas downtown are expensive and modern looking. The worst part of town is where the homeless are getting pushed out towards past the interstate. The homes are beat-down and are tagged with graffiti. This is the area where most of the African-American's call home. It's a shame to see the digression Atlanta has took to make the inner city more appealing. | | Atlanta is a place of opportunity. A lot of Banks, News Hubs, and Investment services are located in this area. That means the area is full of professionals who are ready to go and network. As of late many people have noticed that more homosexual's and people of different orientations have been moved into the downtown area. So if that's not your scene, then maybe Atlanta now would not be for you. Overall however everyone is busy during the day, and partying at night. Atlanta is the party city of the state of Georgia. |

Downtown is excellent, and the malls here have every dealer you could think of. A lot of international brands come in and offer deals for visitors. Downtown life late at night is one of the best as the nightclubs and bars are always alive. | | Some of the best restaurants are Canoe and the Varsity in Atlanta. Both offer premire steaks and appetizers that are truly one of the best in the state. SS Kitchen is also a southern favorite and MUST visit. | | Atlanta is big, and is known to have one of the biggest dysfunctional school systems in the United States. The surrounding towns and cities in the metro area are your best bet (Cobb County). | | Very good place for singles to meet eachother. People from all around the world come to visit Atlanta. You will have no problems meeting someone here. |

Plenty of activity in Atlanta. The airport is always busy, traffic is also constant until 11pm. Be prepared to deal with the noise if visiting. | | There's east point or what most call College park that's just off interstate 285. It's distinctly close to Atlanta and has a majority population of African Americans. Camp Creek is a popular shopping area and is what makes this area a prime location. Also the cost of living is really cheap. You can get a place to live on rent for as low as $400. Decauter is also a neighboring town. It's known to have some of the most elegant and historic homes and neighborhoods in the Atlanta region. It's close to Emory University which is very nice when you need to commute there. Cost of living in Decauter fluctuates, however you can be assured you wont have problems with safety since it's so close to the school. Although all these towns are great, they are nothing compared to Atlanta. Atlanta has all the amenities of both towns and more, and is the better investment when deciding on visiting or living. | | Emory hospital is the closest hospital and is known to be one of the best in the southeast. Partners with Emory university like many other hospitals, and has great medical staff. | | If you're into sports, there is always a game going on whichever season it may be. Atlanta has the Hawks, Braves, and NFL Falcons. The metro area is historical and has many civil war artificats on display in the museum. The CNN tower is popular, and not too far off in the distance is the coca cola factory. Six Flags is also present in Georgia with some of the country's fastest roller-coasters. |

Atlanta feels like the major city I always hear about. Looking at what the city does during the week and weekends amazes me everytime. Without a doubt the resources the city has with the CNN tower, and banking alone give you the opportunity to really make a name for yourself. There is always something to do here which is also important. I do see a lot of poverty in Atlanta, which you wouldn't expect with all the thriving nature that's flaunted around. When visiting underground, and the malls you can really see that Atlanta is a struggling city in certain places. | | | | | | |
