Jeffrey Rudolph reports in this review:
WeatherHow much crime? What are the neighborhoods like? What are the people like?
The weather in the seasons of fall, winter, and spring are beautiful. The weather is consistently in the mid 70's and it is a great place to live if you want great weather. The only downside is that during the summer, temperatures can reach 105 degrees. The only times it rains here is during the winter time, but this is very sparse. There is no snow, hurricanes, or tornadoes in the city of Calabasas. The sun is always shining and if you are looking to go for a run or a nice swim, you can do whenever you would like during any season due to the incredible whether.Calabasas is an extremely safe area and I have lived here for over 12 years and I feel very safe. I have not directly experienced any crime while living here. There is a great deal of security and police officers make sure to attend to any needs in a prompt manner. To be honest, there is no bad or worst town in Calabasas. The homes are very nice and the town is extremely safe. There are expensive gated communities called "The Oaks" and "Hidden Hills" in which the homes are pricy, but is a great neighborhood. These 2 gated communities are right next to the 101 freeway and provide easy access if you are looking to go to Hollywood or another city downtown. Calabasas is known to have expensive house. A great deal of celebrities live here, but houses in California are not cheap these days.Calabasas is mainly older people who are wealthy. If you are a college kid looking to have a fun time, Calabasas is not the right city for you. There aren't many fun things to do in this community besides going to the nearby theater at the Calabasas Commons. There is a Red Robin and and Islands Restaurant right next to the Calabasas Commons. Sagebrush Cantina is a fun place to go on a Friday or Saturday night if you are looking to go out, but the main community is of upper age.

The Calabasas Commons provides a good shopping area. I would also recommend going to the Westfield Topanga Mall with different shops and food courts.A good restaurant that I like is Sage Brush Cantina. They serve good food and they have a great brunch on Sundays. The quality of public schools in Calabasas is great. Calabasas high school is a good public school. For single people, there are multiple bars in Calabasas, but the crowds are usually in the mid thirties and upwards.
Noisetown comparison vs.Best hospitalTourist attractions
Calabasas is right next to the 101 freeway.2 neighboring towns are West Hills and Woodland Hills. West Hills and Woodland Hills are cheaper places to live than Calabasas. They are both equally safe areas to live, but Calabasas is cleaner and kept up than the other 2 cities. The people are more down to earth in West Hills and Woodland Hills than Calabasas. The local hospital is the West Hills hospital. I have been there to get my knee checked for x-rays, and it was a great experience with attentive doctors. The nicest places to visit in this town is the Calabasas Commons and the Topanga Westfield Mall, which is 10 minutes form Calabasas.
General comments
This town is boring, but safe. There isn't anything exciting about Calabasas. Calabasas is a small city and if you are looking for a safe place to live, then I would recommend living here. I have lived here my whole life and I really enjoy it due to the weather. There is not much to do here, but it is peaceful and no one bothers you. I plan on living here the rest of my life because I am comfortable with this city. This city is small, but easy to get around with little to no traffic, unless it is rush hour time.
