If you are on a limitied budget i would recommend the Woodring Street area. The homes in this area are really old but you can get them at a good price. The homes in this area go from $65,000 up to $110,000. These homes may need some updating but the price tags are right for what they may need. If you have a bigger budget and can afford to spend i would recommend the Richfield Road area. The homes in this neighborhood are new construction homes. This neighborhood offers bigger lots and the houses have many nice features. The prices on these homes are anywhere from $175,000 up to $400,000. These homes are very energy efficient though. I say that because that is the majority of the race in this town although a majority of the residents are very welcoming to any race. I would just really watch who you make as a friend in this town seeings how they are not all good people. |

The employees at most stores are very helpful and welcoming. | | I would suggest that you try Buddy's Pizza. The prices are good and the pizza is great. The town really does not have any unusual noise that you can not handle. They do have certain neighborhoods the get a little rowdy at times as well as some apartment complexes. Overall most of the town stays fairly quite. | | Livonia, MI is a nice town and they have a lot to offer. They have a fairly big population with a lot of shopping. Most residents are to be fairly respectable of others. Livonia seems to have some neighborhoods that are more relaxed than others. I would compare it to Farmington Hills. The drive time from one another is about 15 minutes. Farmington Hills also has many stores and plenty of stuff for your everyday needs. I would suggest Farmington Hills over Livonia just for the fact that in Farmington Hills the residents seem a lot nicer to me. I feel much more welcomed in Farmington Hills. It really depends on what type of living you like though. I like the fact that Farmington Hills has many nicer neighborhoods and you can get a lot of house for your money in this town. | | Livonia has many medical centers that you can be seen at but the main hospital is called the St. Mary Mercy Hospital. The staff in this hospital are all very friendly and the hospital has great care for their patients. This is located about 10 miles from Livonia. The museum is very neat for you and or spouse to check out or even your family. This museum has a ton of stuff to see. |
General comments | | | | | | |
I would say this town has a mixed feeling. Sometimes it is very peaceful in some areas of town. There are also many locations in Livonia that can be very rowdy where it seems that everyone is always in your business. The the town does seem to keep pretty clean and the landscape is also very nice. The town does plant flowers and shrubs along side roads downtown which to me makes it feel pretty and welcoming. Overall i like the feel of the town. The only downfall to me is that some people seem a little pushy and there are a few people that can be quite rude to others at times. | | | | | | |
