Jason Parker reports in this review:
WeatherHow much crime? What are the neighborhoods like? What are the people like?
It rains about 22 days a year in Los Angeles, the rest of the time it is sunny or overcast like in the month of June. The weather is tropical most of the time, expect year. Average high 70's to 90's and the winter in the 50's and 40's. The rare winter it will get below freezing and a little frost is a common sight. There is a lot of crime in the city of Los Angeles" but not as bad as there use to be. There are shootings, carjackings, drug & alcohol related crime and prostitution. People in the medical marijuana business are being murdered over their drugs and money. The best neighborhood is the predominately white and middle Eastern Beverly Hills and the homosexual West Hollywood. The neighborhood of Watts and Glassell Park are bad and predominately African and Hispanic. One out of thousand says hi to you on the street. The city of Los Angeles is a majority Hispanic with whites, Asian and Africans.
Downtown AreaRestaurantsSchoolsSingle life
There are many downtown shopping areas. You can take your pick of numerous beautifully places to shop for designer bags or just get a Orange Julius. The Grove and Farmers Market are must stops. The American and the LA Live Center are also excellent.Umami Burger is an amazing local chain and uses only the best beef paired with amazing flavor combinations. 800 Degrees is a build your own pizza place that is very popular. Dave's Chillin-N-Grilling has the best sandwiches in the city. The public school system is overcrowded and wrought with misconduct. Private schools are numerous in Los Angeles and are a popular alternative to public school.Yes there are some of the most beautiful people in the world living in Los Angeles and allot of them are single. Males do seem to out number the women by a good margin, maybe by up to 40,000.
Noisetown comparison vs.Best hospitalTourist attractions
The airport is noisy most of the day every day. There are also hundreds of miles of freeways in Los Angeles and many people live next door to them. The high crime level means constant helicopter flyovers and police sirens all hours of the night. No where in California except possibly San Francisco is as metropolitan as Los Angeles. The only city that really compares to Los Angeles is New York.Cedar Sinai and Bob Hope are two of the best hospitals in the city. If in Burbank there is also St. Joseph and Glendale Adventist is also well regarded.Take a jog up Runyan Canyon with a friend. The trail takes you above the Hollywood Hiils so you get an amazing view of the city. A walk on Venice Beach is also an amazing way to spend a day.
General comments
This is a beautiful city, from the smog drenched unforgGetable sunsets to the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean Los Angeles is in a class of its own. This place is busy but the sidewalks are empty, everyone has to be inside.
