Marana tends to be hot during the summer. At that time of the year, the temperature averages at eighty degrees, while the winter is relatively cold with temperature around fifty degrees. This region has July as the hottest month with temperatures averaging at 100 Fahrenheit. December on the other hand records the coldest temperature at around thirty nine degrees.
Regarding the precipitation, Marana experiences an annual average precipitation of 12.60 inches of rainfall. The said rain comes in a fair distribution within the year. August ranks as the month with the highest precipitation.
The city in general boasts of a low crime rate, with most reported crimes being burglaries and thefts and auto thefts. These are the kind of crimes that visitors in the city can take into consideration during their stay. Otherwise the place is as welcoming as a modern day city can get and the hospitality of the people is unmatched.
North Siverbed road as a neighborhood has a pretty impressive crime rate, making it one of the safest places in this town. Compared to the greater Arizona state and the country at large, this is a place that anyone can move to confident that they will start a life that is not threatened by crime. The neighborhood of Nelson is one that one might need to be cautious with before purchasing property or settling there as it has higher crime rates compared to the rest of the town.

Marana is a place that is still developing at a healthy pace therefore becoming one of the places where moving to becomes an ideal idea. The place is thriving in terms of infrastructure, housing and other vital social amenities. It still has the ideal environment for one to pursue the American dream.
