The weather in Minneapolis, MN in winter is pretty harsh. I have to drive to Minneapolis, every other day for my work and have to say it is a lot colder in Minneapolis than the town that I live in, Hopkins. The wind really hurts. It blows snow in your face! Also, the roads in Minneapolis are super slushy and more accident are likely to occur in that city. In the summer time, Minneapolis is a hot spot for people going out and about. It is so beautiful, the clear and light breeze with so many things to do and so many places to go. Minneapolis is so beautiful especially at night. There are a lot of lit up neon lights from clubs, just an active city with a lot of people walking about in the summer time, any time but especially on Saturday nights. The rain can get very heavy in Minneapolis. The whole town darkens and you know it is going to pour a big one. The rain is like very heavy drops pounding over the roof of your ceiling. Thankfully, no hurricanes or flooding since I have been visiting Minneapolis every other day. :)Unfortunately, as sad as it is for me to say this, Minneapolis is known to be one of the most hot spots in the entire state of Minnesota for crimes to occur. Constantly, I see in the news the crimes that took place in this city, whether a robbery or a shoot down. It is sad to listen too. It makes me feel uncomfortable to visit Minneapolis at night because crimes are known to occur more in the night time. A recent crime that took place in the news in Minneapolis was a 'rape' and an 'assault.' This would not be the first time, Minneapolis always has rapes/assaults that occur. I hear it in the news all the time! :(Good Parts of Minneapolis, MN: Fun lit up clubs, great restaurants such as "Rebecca's Bakery" filled with delicious cakes at reasonable prices, which is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in the area. Another restaurant that is so memorable in Minneapolis is 'Manny's Steakhouse,' which is good place for steak lovers. There is a mix of races in Minneapolis- black, white, Latino, Mexican, etc.

Bad Parts of Minneapolis, MN: A lot of crimes occur all the time, especially at night. The worse crime I hear about all the time on the news is rapes/assaults.
Rarely, I personally see drunk people always wondering around in both day time, and night time (mostly night time though.) In the day time, there are a lot of homeless people out, sometimes, they ask you for food or money.
The people in Minneapolis are nice and respectful. The ethnic group is probably more black people in the area and Latino. The people in Minneapolis are very professional. They are always holding there coffee, rushing to work and are in their suits and ties. I love how everyone is looking at their wrist watches and holding their briefcases. It shows that the city of Minneapolis is responsible, educated and is filled with people who are employed. Minneapolis is not all filled and about crimes and rapes, but it does have very professional educated, working people too. I personally love the city of Minneapolis. I love the professional people that I get to deal with. :)
Downtown AreaRestaurantsSchoolsSingle life
The downtown shopping area is beautiful to the eyes. There are a lot of neon lights at night, so pretty! The actual spending/shopping part, however is ridiculous, I have never went shopping in Minneapolis to buy groceries or stuff. It is only a good place to eat.The best restaurants in Minneapolis, just to name a few are-Sammy's Pizza and Gyro's, Max's Cafe, Skyway Wok, etc. So many food quarts and places to eat at. You will find a lot of variety of foods in Minneapolis at for sure at very reasonable prices. The public schools are very good in Minneapolis-- kind teachers, and kids are actually learning something, which is obviously what we want. However, I have experienced bullying in a public school in Minneapolis, so I had to transfer to the public school in Hopkins. I don't know if this always happens in public schools in Minneapolis, or if it just happen to happen to me. I am sure bullying happens all over, in all schools at any grade level. There is no opportunity for singles in Minneapolis than any where else, believe me. You might find someone drunk who will love you for a day though, than leave!
Noisetown comparison vs.Best hospitalTourist attractions
There are absolutely no unusual noises in Minneapolis. The only thing that could be annoying to some, is the pick up trucks. There are sometimes the noises of trucks delivering and shipping up packages and boxes.Minneapolis, MN compared to Hopkins, MN would be how both cities have respectful caring people. However, Hopkins does not have not nearly as many crimes as Minneapolis, does if not any at all. Hopkins, is known to get fires, Minneapolis is known for burglaries. Very interesting. I like Hopkins better than Minneapolis because of the clean and safe environment, Minneapolis is not always safe, like Hopkins.I think the best hospital in Minneapolis is the "Allina Abbott Northwestern Hospital." They are very immediate, professional and caring doctors. The only problem is, prices are very expensive at this Hospital. I would not choose this Hospital unless it was an extreme emergency. Rather lose my money, than a loved one, god forbid. :)Nice places to visit around in the Minneapolis area is the restaurants, clubs and theaters. There are some really, amazing theaters in Minneapolis, like the "Orpheum Theater." WOW! This theater is so beautiful and big and plays the best shows you will remember for a life time. Oh, I almost forgot where celebrities preform in Minneapolis, The Target Center. So much fun to go there to watch your favorite artists preform! I went to see Miley Cyrus at the Target center the other week, but could not get good seats though!
General comments
Minneapolis feels like a busy town in the day and night. It is always a city with people walking out and about all the time. In the day it feel like a city with hard working, educated people. At night it feels like a unsafe to be with how many rapes that occur at night, that we hear about. At night, Minneapolis is more of a party place, a lot of people walking around, smoking and clubbing.
