The weather is temperate - winters range from 40 - 70's with moderate rain fall. The summers are hot - 60 - over 100's. There is no downtown shopping area. There are only small shopping centers with markets, fast food, movies, and banks. To do any major shopping, one must travel to Riverside or Ontario to visit their major shopping centers. | | There are primarily only fast food restaurants in town. To go to a really good restaurants, you have to travel to Riverside or Ontario - only approximately 8 miles away. There you can find the Mission Inn, Salted Pig, Lucille's Bar B Q to name a few. | | The public schools are from kindergarten to high school. There are no colleges in Mira Loma. The Ontario airport and 1 major freeway border Mira Loma. There is a small amount of air noise and traffic noise. | | Mira Loma, in 2011 was renamed City of Jurupa Valley. It is bordered by the bigger city of Ontario and Riverside which are twice the size and offer more shopping, colleges and homes. | | the best hospital is in Riverside - approximately 5 miles away.
