| The weather in Novi, MI varies by the month. Winters can be quite cold. The normal temperature throughout winter is 20-30 degrees. You will see snow as well in the winter months. Most of the snow comes in January and February. It seems to be pretty windy during the month of March. The summer temperatures are much better reaching around 70 degrees. You may even see temps hit near 80 degrees toward the end of July or the beginning of August. | | There are several types of crimes that occur in Novi. You have your basic traffic violations. You will also see some drunk driving cases as well as driving on suspended license. The most common crime in this town is burglaries. These happen almost everyday. Some of these are just as simply as shoplifting with others being more serious. This town seems to have quite a few auto thefts also. This is probably the second most common in the town. You will also hear of some robberies and assaults. I have only heard about one or two murders over the years. | | Novi has many homes to choose from. I have heard great things about the Amadora Cir area. These homes have a lot of square footage. The yards are a bit smaller but the homes are very nice. The homes in this part of town come with a big price tag as well. They sell for anywhere from $300,000 all the way up to $500,000. Keep in mind that most of theses are brand new construction homes in this area as well. The Crown Drive area is also very nice and a bit more affordable. The houses in this area are approximately 5-12 years old. The price on these homes range from $175,000-$250,000. These homes have many nice features and are very updated. If you are on more of a budget you would want to look on the outskirts of town. This is where you will find cheaper homes. The Simmons Drive area has smaller homes that are bit older. The homes are livable in this neighborhood but could use some new touches. The price in this neighborhood is around $125,000 to $170,000. | | Novi is made up of many races. The majority of the race is whites. The next most common race that is seen in this town is Asians. You will also see some black residents that live in the town. There are a few Hispanic as well but not very many. I would say you would fit in this town if you are a white or an Asian. I say this because that is the majority of the population. Although most residents stay to themselves you will see friendly ones. There are certainly residents that are rude as well. There are a few gangs that live in Novi also. I would just really watch who you make as a friend in the town. The town has many middle class families. There are a few upper class families and also a few poor families. |

| The downtown area is great. The shopping is good as well. They have many small shops you can go to as well as great landscaping that makes it feel very welcoming. | | If you are in Novi i would recommend trying Steve and Rocky's. They have very good food. The service is great. The prices a little high but you get a lot of food for your money. I would also try the China Cafe. They have great Chinese food. | | The schools in Novi are above average. They have a great curriculum and also a great sports program. The staff and teachers are very friendly and always willing to answer any questions. | | There are many opportunities for single people in this town. Novi has a variety of meeting places such as bars or local pubs. You may be able to find your soul mate in this town. |

| The most noise you hear in Novi is just the normal traffic. You will here sirens now and again but that is about it. The town is pretty quiet in the late evenings. | | The cost of living in Novi seems to be a bit pricey though. The homes have pretty big price tags. There is a town called Farmington Hills that is on the outskirt of Novi. It is about a ten minute commute from one another. The cost of living is a bit lower In Farmington Hills. You can find a house in this town for as low as $50,000. The homes at this price are livable and have nice sized yards. Farmington Hills also has many shopping centers as well. I would choose to live in Farmington Hills over Novi because of the cost of living. You can get a lot more for your money in Farmington Hills and it is not very far to get to Novi. It is worth the commute for the money you will save. | | The local hospital is called the Providence Park Hospital. This hospital is an average sized hospital. The hospital in this town is newer and the workers are always trying to make their patients smile. | | I would check out Paradise Park located in Novi. They have a lot of fun stuff to do. This is a great place to take your family. It is more kid friendly than for adults. But i had fun here with just me and my wife so i would certainly recommend stopping in and checking it out. |

| This town can be pretty busy at times. It has a lot of people. It seems that almost everyone is always going somewhere. The town seems to have very nice landscape as well has a ton of stores for shopping. Novi also has a mall which is great for everyone if your into shopping. Overall i like the town and feel it is a nice place. Some of the subdivisions are nice. You always see people outside during the summer just relaxing or working in their yard. Overall its a great atmosphere. | | | | | | |
