| Oceanside weather is ideal in my opinion! The summers are so nice! With sunshine filled days,warm sandy beaches & plenty of water to cool off in! The later summer months bring hot heat & humidity but the rainstorms come shortly in the fall to cool everything down again. I love the warm rains on the beach. It actually rains often in these autumn months & then it gets pretty cold & windy fast but the winters are still mild in comparison. I think the wind is the worst part! But you couldn't tell either way by looking with all the surfers still out! | | Crime is rare here! The only danger that I personally witnessed was a string of car robberies that happened a couple years ago. | | I love all of the little neighborhoods here! They are so cute & everyone is always outside keeping a lookout for each other! I've never heard of a bad area or neighborhood in this area! | | The locals are great here! They are so relaxed and mellow & can tell you stories forever! They are always down to invite you to a local pub or barbecue at their house! Everyone seems like friends even if they don't know each other! |

| Downtown shopping is great! Everything you could possibly need is locally convenient! | | There are several great spots for dining here, especially if you like Seafood and authentic Mexican! Oceanside has an array of restaraunts and some really cool local pubs and cafes! One of my favorites is the TinFish Oceanside Pier & Pollos Maria has very good fish tacos! | | Yes! I think so! People are always visiting,whether its friends,family or tourists,there are always new faces and always something to do! Especially if you are enjoying all of the water & beach sports available. I think that's a great way to meet people! Volleyball,Surfing,Frisbee etc. There are also plenty of bars and clubs to meet people! | | The sound of the ocean is therapy for me, the wind, waves, birds, and rain are like music to my ears. Besides that common noises from distant boats planes and the highway,but nothing distracting from the natural sounds. I think people's car stereos are louder than anything else here! Ha! |

| Oceanside is bigger than the typical little beach town & its fun and inviting! There is always something going on. People in the area love to host so there is always a party, picnic, BBQ, or some other entertaining events going on! | | Oceanside Pier is stunning! It's one of the oldest and longest wooden piers on the west coast & the Harbor is a wonderful sight in itself! I can watch the boats roll in for hours! If these are too mundane for you...Disneyland,Seaworld, and San Diego Zoo are all close enough to enjoy! | | Oceanside is a beautiful small escape from the greater San Diego areas! It's Like a mini vacation from your vacation! Ha! It's got a fun but relaxing casual feel to it. | | |
