Are you thinking of moving or relocating to Ontario, California? Would you like to know what the quality of life is like living in Ontario?
Donald Ramsey reports in this review:
WeatherHow much crime? What are the neighborhoods like? What are the people like?
ONTARIO is more of a semi-arid, warm-summer Mediterranean climate. The summers are very hot with temperatures scaling to a maximum of 90'F (32C) and can go to as low as 42'F (-6 C).The autumn is cool with the most preferred temperature being fall season. Winter season is often warm; having a low precipitation rate and snow cover is usually gone within a 3-day span. Most communities in Ontario has been adversely affected by severe weather conditions such as prolonged extreme temperature, high winds and snow storms, which reduce visibility to zero. The greater part of Ontario experience high frequency of lightning which tempers with power lines.Ontario is safer than most of her sister cities as Los Angeles. However, I experienced incidences of burglary and theft- more so, on resident property- and car theft cases. There are few chances of falling victim by avoiding the lone streets. I personally felt victim of stalking but thanks to the police personnel that stopped.
The northern and most of southern Ontario are bad areas, where there is an old gang of Mexicans at the south side. a stretch from D street south until you hit Francis is not a good area at all. There is a lot of gang activity, drug sale and assault cases. Western Ontario in not great either until you are at the 4 street. The John Gavlin Park and east of grove should also be avoided, I was actually hit up by the a person at the park but I managed to slip away.
The largest concentrations of people in this city are the Hispanic, Caucasian, and Asians, followed by the African Americans, a few pacific islanders and Native Americans. The larger representations are the young persons under 18 years of age and quite a large ratio of female persons to male. However, the singles, hippies and the young will find a safe haven there, due to diverse activities, recreation facilities and diversity of persons.

There is a high level of high school graduates and bachelor's degree holders transforming white collar to a high percentage. The old are the most unattended among the residents, since most live under monthly gain pensions and more likely not a place the seniors can go for their vacation. It can be such a lonely place for them, due to the rush of activities and more so most amenities favor the young.

The shopping stores are superb. Large space, a diversity of goods and services, home delivery system forms a basis of interest in shopping in the town. Ontario Mills offers quality clothing and accessories. It is a fun place to shop early as it gets busy especially on the weekends. There are power walkers before the shop opens, giving a perfect place to get your walk on.There are a number of hospitals and services offered within range in the town. Hospitals, Nurses Registries, Alcoholism and Treatment Centre, Surgery Centre and Emergency Care Facilities are available and accessible. Loma Linda Medical Centre however gave me one of the best services and attention in the town.An overview of the schools in the town stipulates a great competition of public schools with the liberty elementary school being one of the top ranks by community. They are characterized with very high teacher quality, effective principal leadership and efficient parent involvement. I noted great concern to the students by the staff and well being, they have great programs, with a goal oriented curriculum.
If you are single there plenty of opportunities for you to get a date here. These applies for both men and women, since there is a large number of singles for both sexes.
Noisetown comparison vs.Best hospitalTourist attractions
The town is harbored with a rush of activities and transportation. Taking for example the Ontario international airport, the sound of the unending flight takeoffs and rush of vehicles can be so disgusting when you reside around these areas.Balancing out nice places to live considering your budget, I would say securing a place at Claremont, upland or Rancho Cucamonga are nice, since they have diversity compared the surrounding towns. Upland is more of a bedroom community, specifically to the north of Foothill Boulevard. There are a chain of restaurants and large shopping stores, nice apartments especially near the Victoria Gardens, but a little bit expensive to my scope. Montclair, Chino, Fontana and Eastvale-you would have to pick more carefully due to the nature of neighborhoods. I recommend Ontario especially at the northern part close to upland or Rancho Cucamonga,as I can't say much of specific areas of her sister towns, other than I would recommend Claremont or upland over them. There are a number of hospitals and services offered within range in the town. Hospitals, Nurses Registries, Alcoholism and Treatment Centre, Surgery Centre and Emergency Care Facilities are available and accessible. Loma Linda Medical Centre however gave me one of the best services and attention in the town.I found Ontario mills to be one of my nicest places in Ontario. I especially loved the forever 21, Ralph Lauren, the Nike Store. You can't miss the Victoria Secret and the cinnabon in the food court. There are plenty of power stations for hybrid cars too, not forgetting the entertainment joints.
General comments
The town is generally exciting, as there is always something going on. The traffic is superb with modern road infrastructure. Probably the best place to hang out away from the city activity such as Los Angeles. The life there is average and not expensive as it would seem. Most people are friendly and easy to get along with.

You can be assured of a good time since there many joints to hung out with friends and family. But it is always best if you are aware of your surroundings and where you go in order not to run it trouble with criminals and petty thieves. In general I would recommend this city to anyone as a great place to live.
