The summers can be very hot in Saginaw, MI which many people look forward to especially after the long winters this town generally has. The winters have strong winds and a lot of snow which is unpredictable. This makes the roads icy and it can make driving dangerous. The Springs are nice although they can bring some tornadoes and a lot of rain. When the snow starts to melt flooding is also possible. The falls feel nice although the wind can pick up during this season. There is quite a bit of crime in Saginaw, MI, especially in the West side of this town. Within a 3 block radius of the West Side of town over a week's time recently, there were 3 shootings and two stabbings. There are many fights at the bars in town as well. The West side of town is more dangerous than the rest of this town. The good parts of town are pretty much anywhere except for the West side of town. There are a variety of races who live here. There really is no majority of one race in this town. The nicer houses are off from the main roads in town. The people in Saginaw can be friendly if you are in town.
