WeatherHow much crime? What are the neighborhoods like? What are the people like?
The weather here is awesome if you like hot weather in the summer. It gets pretty hot with a lot of humidity. The winters are cold, but I know them to be way colder in other places. There are problems sometimes with floods and not much with tornadoes but they do happen sometimes. The spring and fall is mild, not to hot, not too cold. The biggest problem in Statesboro is people who steal, rob your house, or in some other way, take things that don't belong to them. You hear about it all the time either on the news, down the street, at the mall, from neighbours, you name it.
The best neighbourhood here is Jimps, East of Statesboro. The crime is hardly heard of here, and the homes are nicer. The people, friendlier. The second best I think are Clito and Akins Mill, Route 24 and Stilson Leefield Rd. An area you may want to avoid would be S Main St & W Main St because this area is pretty rough. The mix of ethnicity consists of mainly white and black.
The people are friendly once they check you out to see what your all about. I like the people from the south because they are more down to earth. These people have a lot of stories and the further you go out of town, the more likely you will run into homes that have been there on the property for hundreds of years, with a hundred years worth of stories to hear. I love it.

The downtown is amazing. They have a lot of things going on all year around and the place is growing.    The Main Street Farmers Market is wonderful to stop at, and there are a lot of wonderful restaurants all over. They have some very amazing bread stores and serve wonderful cupcakes here.

The Millhouse Steak House is excellent. Then there is The Mellow Mushroom, and Coconut Thai Cuisine, Dragon Chen Restaurant, and The Ocean Galley Seafood. These are all the ones I would recommend anyone who visits.
Most people love the schools here. Everyone I know who has children that either go to Mill Creek, or have gone there, have nothing but good things to say, the same with Statesboro High. The kids seem like good kids, so someone's doing something right.
I think there is opportunity for anyone to find someone, anywhere and anyhow if they really want to. But the bigger the city, the more chances of doing that sooner, then later. Statesboro has a lot of people so I think people have a greater chance then someone looking for someone in The Ozarks.

Noisetown comparison vs.Best hospitalTourist attractions
The Platinum Lounge used to be super noisy, but they finally closed it down because it was too loud all the time and were a lot of fights and other problems.
Jimps, Clito and Akins Mill are simular towns but with just less people. Statesboro has a lot more people and a lot more going on. They all hold the same sort of values that is shared by most who have lived in Georgia for many years. To them, this is their home country, or world. Statesboro being bigger then then other closest cities has more crime, simply because it is bigger, and in certain directions you go from Statesboro, depends on if the areas will get nicer or out in the woods with homes that have been there for a very long time. These places mentioned here are in the newer area direction. The best hospital I think is East Georgia Regional Medical Center, actually I think it is the only one here.
I love to go to Skidaway Island State Park, the Averitt Center for the arts, the Eagle Creek Brewing Company, and Magnolia Springs State Park. I think these are the main attractions that everyone enjoys here, weather they live here or are just visiting.
General comments
I love it here because of the weather and all the new things to discover, from bugs I've never seen before, to rocks that shine all over. When I first got there I took a 6 hour hike. The snakes are different then any other place I have been, so I had to be careful. It was an amazing experience with so much history and the people are great.
