Sarah Francois reports in this review:
WeatherHow much crime? What are the neighborhoods like? What are the people like?
Thornton, CO is prone to really pervasive sunlight in the summer and heavy snow in the winters. However, with a four wheel drive you can enjoy a house with a backyard and a hot tub with thirty minute drive to city nightlife and thirty minute drive to mountains.Thornton is prone to relatively small crimes. By small, I mean teenager- pranks. They will try to take your garden frogs and fairies. They will try to come snooping around your backyard. Mostly its quiet and uneventful.Thornton is one of the exemplary suburban areas. There is grass and trees. There are really nice houses. Race and York street seems to have more diversity of experience and class. However, mostly Thornton is filled with middle class white people or people who have retired and are living it up. The homes are really well-cared for and are at reasonable prices. Race street late at night will exhibit strange activity. Mostly people driving while under the influence of some substance or young women who are hopping into stranger's vehicles.Young non-whites will not fit in Thornton. If you are exotic or eccentric in any way, you will stick out like a sore thumb. The church folks will try to convert you. People will think you are adopted or will adopt you as their personal project. It is a place that will not abide blue collar folks or people of varying races. It is a family-oriented place. Most of the population is Christian or feigns it well enough not to be questioned.

Also, There is an applebees with a weekly schedule of events and a Village inn that stays open late. The schools in Thornton are part of the Adams County 5 star rated schools. Your child will receive a quality education in a safe and supportive environment with qualified teachers near a country club.No. Most of the people who live in Thornton already have families.
Noisetown comparison vs.Best hospitalTourist attractions
It's quiet. There is a nearby highway but I think the amount of trees buffers the sound.Compared to Northglenn and Federal Heights, Thornton is more elite. Northglenn has some blue collar folks. Federal Heights is teeming with lots of spanish-speaking people. If you want a quiet serene environment with nice christian homes and families thorton is your town.
North Suburban Medical Center provides excellent medical care. It is the place for a teen with substance abuse problems or mental health issues. It also does every well in medical care. If you are concerned about a friend or colleague the local police officers will do a wellness check to make sure they are ok. There is a very quick ambulance response time. The recreational center offers affordable membership and a myriad of activities. The parks are breathtaking. The schools allow neighborhood access to running tracks.
General comments
It feels like the story of Levittown, where everyone is the same. They garden. They have amazing children. The houses are beautiful and feel like retreat houses. The schools are excellent. The babies are cute. It's like a story book town. It has sidewalks for walking. There are some differences in age but not so much in race. Rarely will you see a person of African Descent or Latino Descent. Mostly italian or russian or white american.
