It gets fairly hot in Three Rivers during the summer months, temperatures run between 70 and 85 degrees. On occasional it can reach into the 90's if you factor in the wind chill factor. In spring and fall temperatures are warm, usually somewhere in between 45 and 65 degrees. You should expect temperatures to fall below zero, that is if you consider the wind chill factor. It also rains in spring, summer and fall, especially in mid June. In addition, it often snows in the winter here, as well. | | I have heard of several thefts and burglaries happening in this town. Plus, I know that within the last few years, there have been between five and ten rapes that have been reported here. I don't think there has ever been any murders in Three Rivers. You can also expect to see or hear about minor crimes like traffic violations, domestic issues and occasionally some minors will get into trouble because they drink. Overall, the crime rate in this town is slightly above the average Michigan city. | | There are some luxurious modern houses on Coon Hollow Road and W. Ridgeview Drive. These roads are close to Kerr Creek. Many of these homes are rather expensive, but sure look lovely. This is one area in town that most people consider a good place to live. There are some older homes located on South Main Street and 7th Street. Many of these homes are older, but most are in really good condition. My cousin used to live on 7th street and her house was old, but nice. Some people say this area of town is bad, but she never had a problem. | | Most of the people seem to be nice, I never came across anyone who acted rude or snobbish. There are mostly white people living in this town, but I seen several black folks, as well. There are more women than men and the average resident is in their late thirties to mid forties. In addition, there are about the same number of married and single people. If you are a middle aged white person who doesn't mind cold snowy winters than this town would be a good fit for you. |

I have heard some planes in the area, my cousin said there were from a Municipal airport. | | Mendon is a neighboring town to Three Rivers, it is much smaller than Three Rivers, though. These towns are about 15 minutes from one another. Centreville is another neighbor to Three Rivers, it is also much smaller than Three Rivers. The shopping is much better in Three Rivers, I would only recommend living in Three Rivers if you are the kind of person who likes living in larger towns. I think there are something like 7000 people living here. However, if you like smaller towns I recommend Mendon, it is a really pretty place with fewer people. | | Three Rivers Health Hospital is a good hospital. | | Cranberry Lake Campgrounds is really pretty and clean. I like staying at this campground. |

The town is very pretty, it has some really gorgeous scenery. The downtown area has older buildings, but most residents consider them to be historical buildings. I guess they very well could be, they sure look like it. I just started visiting this town when my cousin moved there about three years ago, so I can't say for sure if the buildings are historical or not. I do love looking at them, though. Overall, this town is a really good place to live and visit. I recommend that if you are ever in the area take some time to check out this beautiful town. | | | | | | |
