| The weather here is a little cooler then the weather in Portland Oregon. It is close to the Gorge and that makes it windier, and closer to Mt. Hood, which makes it colder. The spring and fall are beautiful because of all the trees and hills. It snows sometimes during the winter, but not a lot if it does. | | There is not a lot of crime at all because the area is so small. There are random crimes, but I don't think there are any that outweigh the others. Theft and burglary are if any the most common if I had to pick. | | I would have to say the more north you go in Troutdale the rougher it gets, but not really. The more South, the cleaner and quieter. All the people are about the same in kindness. It is populated by all races. | | The people are friendly as long as they don't live on the river and your swimming in front of their place. There are a lot of fishers, and outdoors people who live here and in the area. |

| The down town area is adorable. Just like the down town in little house on the prairie. You can walk the town and enjoy a lot of different antique and art stores along with Ice cream shops, and collectable treasures. | | The Black Rabbit Restaurant is the best along side Mc Minimums Edge field. Then there is also the Ristorante Di Pompello, | | The schools are wonderful, small, and they take pride in their students. They have a lot of different things for the kids to be involved with outside of school like the Y, or sports, or outdoor things like cub scouts. | | There are chances for singles here, but odds are if you were to find someone, they would be from one of the cities or towns around the area. |

| There are no loud noises here unless you live right by the free way but there are not many houses there. | | It is smaller then Gresham near by and about the same as Fairview, maybe a little bigger. There is less crime here then in Gresham and Fairview. Fairview is out of town even more then Troutdale, and there is even less to do. Gresham has a lot of different things to do, and if you want to go further west, you can go into Portland where its bigger then all of these places mentioned. | | The best and closest Hospital is called Mt. Hood Medical Center and is located about 15 minuets from Troutdale, in Gresham Oregon. | | The whole down town is very nice to visit. So is the outlet mall. It has a lot of designer names for very cheap. There is a river right by and a park where many hang out during the summer because the park is located right on the river & sand. |
