| Decently large snowstorms in the winter, but mostly temperate. Gets very cold in the middle of winter and very hot in the middle of summer. Windy sometimes, but mostly not. High desert, so days with precipitation are few and far between. | | Non-existant. I have never heard of anything more serious than a parking ticket. The name city is misleading, it is barely large enough to be considered a town. Any sort of crime would surely be the talk of the whole town for weeks but alas, i have heard of no such events. | | There is only one part of town, because the entire town can be walked across in a few minutes. The area is very nice, but very old and very dead. Next to no wildlife except for sagebrush and the animals that live around. Good view of an uninhabited valley. The shops, restaurants, bars, chapels, and museums are pretty cool, but the residential area look old and unkempt. There are some bigger and nicer houses scattered around. | | Never seen a non-white or under-30 resident, but lots of tourists (comparatively). The town is designed to receive tourists, so everyone is welcome. Hippies or weirdoes probably won't find any kin or fun in this town. All races and ages can find something fun to do. Weirdly large amounts of Corvettes and Harley's, so bikers or car fans will find plenty friends. Children will have fun on a visits, but will hate living there. |

| Old, but nice. Full of gift shops and museums, specialty stores like jewelry, weapons, and rugs. | | All of the small, homey restaurants and bar/grills are all about the same: pretty good. I don't remember any names, but i remember that the menus from two different places were identical. | | There isn't one. I don't think any kids live there, but if there are any, they would have to go Carson High School, which is new and nice. | | One could try to find singles among the tourists, but won't have much luck among the locals. |

| None other than the sound of tourists walking around and talking, and cars and motorcycles rolling through the only paved street. the place is in the middle of nowhere. | | This town is the second oldest in Nevada, only beaten by Genoa. Visiting this town is quite fun, but i would not recommend that you live here. If you like cities and want to lie in the area, Reno is your best option and if you want a quiet rural life, Gardnerville/Minden is the nicest in the state. This town is no good to live in because everyone who lives there has forever and I never saw any grocery stores. | | Carson-tahoe Medical center. Surprisingly good, known for cardiology center. | | The Mines Museum is really cool and has a lot of Nevada history with the Gold and Silver Rushes. |

| The town feels super old and historic. The mines make you fell like you are standing in the past. All of the buildings were built in the early 20th or late 19th century, and are very cool to look at. There are lots of cool things, old and new, to look at, tour, and buy. If you come at the end of summer, the town is an important stop in Street Vibrations, which I participated in last year, very fun. | | | | | | |
