| The summers here are hot. During the day the temp rises to 90'to 95'. There are thunderstorms that produce strong lightning. The Winters are cold with the daytime temp of about 30' to 40'. Some winters, Weddington will have snow and/or ice storms. Occassionally there are winters that are mild with temp of about 50' to 55' in the day. Spring and Falls are very nice and comfortable. The changing of the trees are beautiful during the Spring and Fall in this town. | | The crime is low in Weddington, NC. It is a small town and safe for the most part. Weddington does have reports of auto left, burglaries, domestic violence, scamming, and larceny but it's not on the radar for high crime. | | Weddington is an affluent town with expensive homes and ranches. It is hard to find a bad side of town. The best side is along Providence Rd near Hunter Farm. The is a neighborhood which sits next to the farm and the homes in this neighborhood are huge and most of them have private pools. Majority of these homes sit on an ache of land. The are also really nice neighborhoods along Hwy 81 which connects Weddington and Wesley Chapel, NC. These neighborhoods
also have mansion style homes. If there is a bad side of Weddington to be found it would be along Hwy 81 where some of the older homes can be found sitting between the affluent neighborhoods. Weddington is/was a rural town and before all the development began, the older homes were already here. It still has a lot of farmland, ranches, and grasslands but as developers continue to develope, this will soon change. | | Majority of the people in Weddington are wealthy individuals enjoying their big homes and beautiful country scenery. Everyone is nice and friendly for the most part but you will run into a pretentious individual from time to time. These individuals may not mean any rude intent but they are just busy people. They may speak to you one day and not the next day. Overall the people in Weddington are cordial. |

| Weddington doesn't have a downtown area but it has a nice little shopping center at the corner of Providence Rd and Hwy 81. | | There are a lot of restaurants in Weddington but there is still great food around. The good food can be found at Hickory Tavern, Harris Tester food bar, and the cafe inside BP. | | The public schools in this town are really good schools. The high school has a highgraduation rate. | | This is a town of families, retirees, and career minded singles. It is possible to meet someone here but you would have to work at it. |

| This is a quiet town. There is a small airport a few miles away in Monroe, NC but it doesn't receive huge airplanes. | | Weddington is a smaller town compared to Charlotte, NC. It doesn't have as many restaurants and shops as Charlotte, NC but it has less crime.
Weddington, NC and Indian Land, SC both
have beautiful homes and they are both very clean towns. Both of these towns are
ideal for raising children. | | The closest hospital for residents is CMC-Waxhaw Hospital or Presbyterian in Matthews, NC. | | The nicest place to visit is Hunter Farm. It has a lot of activities for children and adults enjoy the scenery. |

| Weddington is a beautiful town with very beautiful landscaped yards and neighborhood entryways. The drive down Hwy 81 to Wesley Chapel and Monroe, NC is very peaceful and beautiful. This is a quiet, tranquil like town. The occasional glance of a horse or cow ranch/farm is an asset in this town. Looking at the huge beautiful homes may even give you a feeling of aspiration. | | | | | | |
