The temperatures in Albion during summer are usually between 70 and 80 degrees, although on some days temps rise into the 90's due to humidity. In spring and fall, temperatures are usually between 50 and 70 degrees. However, you can expect temperatures to get very cold during winter, sometimes temps can drop below zero if you factor in the wind chill. It does rain during summer, spring and fall, especially in July. In addition, you can expect to see several thunderstorm sweep through this town during summer, spring and fall, as well. It also snows in the winter, sometimes this town is coated with 10-15 inches of snow. The crime rate in Albion is higher in comparison to other Michigan cities, you can expect to see several types of major crimes take place in this town like thefts, burglaries, arsons, assaults and auto thefts. There has been at least three murders reported within the last five years. In addition, several rapes also have been reported within the past, as well. Of course, you can expect to see minor violations take place here like traffic violations, domestic problems, drunk driving and occasionally someone will get in trouble for public intoxication. There are some luxurious houses on 27 1/2 Mile Road and Country Club Lane, many of these homes are newly built or have been updated within the past five years. This area of town is by Duck Lake, many residents say this is one of the best areas of Albion. There are much older houses on Austin Avenue and Perry Street, may of these homes really need some updating, some of them need stuff done to the inside and outside, but some just need work on the inside of them. This area of town is south of Highway 94. Many residents would say this is one of the worst areas of Albion. Most of the residents seem to be friendly, I have never met anyone who was rude or mean. However, my brother said that he talked to a few residents who live here at a bar and the folks he talked with were a little rude, but personally I have never encountered anyone you treated me bad. There are mostly white people who live in Albion, but you can also expect to see people from other races, as well. Many of the residents who live here are in their late twenties or early thirties and there are fewer married people than single people. If you are in your late twenties and are single than you would fit well in this town.

There are a few cool places to shop downtown, one of my favorites is a bookstore called Books & More.I love the burrito's at Lopez Taco House, good food, good prices. The school system seems to be pretty good. Some singles go to Java n' Jazz to mingle with other singles.
NoiseCompared to other placesBest hospitalTourist attractions
I don't think there are any airports that cause loud distracting noises, but Highway 94 runs through Albion thus at times the cars that travel this road do create some loud disturbing noises.Marshall is a neighboring town to Albion, these two towns are about 18 minutes from one another. Albion is slightly larger than Marshall, both of these towns have things to do in regard to entertainment and shopping. Concord is another neighboring town to Albion, these two towns are about 14 minutes from one another. Concord is much smaller than both Marshall and Albion. Personally, I would say if you are looking to move to this area of Michigan than choose Concord because the crime rate is lower there than in the other two towns, plus, it isn't has hectic and chaotic because it has fewer people living in it.Many residents travel to Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, a neighboring town to Albion, for medical care.Rockey's Campground is a peaceful relaxing place, my family loves camping here.
General comments
The town is a pretty town, I like the scenery. However, it can get a little hectic sometimes because of the college that is located here, some of the college students can sometimes cause a little chaos, but I must say none of them have ever bothered me or my family. Although, we have seen a few college kids screaming and yelling at each other. For the most part, the residents are pretty nice and mostly friendly. Albion appears to be a good town in my opinion, I would recommend you visit it if you are ever in this region of Michigan.
