In January the temperatures can heat up to highs of 47 degrees Celsius, and December being the coldest month getting to as low as -8 degrees Celsius. | | I wouldn't actually rate Antioch as safe but at least it's better than 6% of the American states. I often here of theft cases, I actually experienced one in my neighborhood. Reports of burglary and motor vehicle theft are also common, a few murder and rape cases. | | Best parts near Brentwood, California The majority of race in this area are the White folks covering slightly more than half of the population I could say about 60%. The Hispanic or Latinos are about a quarter of the population of Brentwood. The homes are new and fancy though expensive but it's definitely worth every penny.

Most of the residents are Hispanic or Latinos, you will always be advised to avoid this area as it is known to be associated with the Sureno and Norteno gang members, very notorious gangs that always cause havoc in the area. | | Generally you will always find a blend of both the friendly and the ignorant fellows. The white, Hippies and African Americans fit quite well. The educated also have great opportunities in the area. The young and single wouldn't fit in quite well as more than half of the population constitutes of married couples.
Couples with families will fit in quiet well this city. With enough social amenities in plenty like quality schools, playing grounds and safe neighborhoods it a great place to raise kids.

| There are various shopping centers like my personal favorite is Somersville Towne Center,It is a mall that offers a wide range of products includes supplies from across the world. A great place to shop. | | Hazel's Drive-In - If Hamburgers are your favorite then this is your first choice.
Rick's on Second ' Has excellent food pop in for American Cuisines
Okawa ' I would say it is one of my favorite restaurants, popularly known for great Sushi. For Japanese Cuisines this is definitely the place.
| | There are various institution set up for public education and accommodates quite a good number of the residential kids. The quality will say to be below par, this conclusion comes about when you try to compare the performance of Antioch schools to other neighboring cities.
| | For the single fellows I wouldn't like to get your hopes high, though the married couples make up about half of the population you might as well find you soul-mate. To easily find singles guys, I guess social media will do quite fine. |

The closest airport serving Antioch is Oakland International Airport. Once in a while you might here rumbling sound of planes from a far distance, but you will sure expect to here hooting and vehicle noises from the highway.
| | Bay area,the cost of living in this area is quite lower compared to Antioch, apartments are quite affordable at the moment if you got yourself a big family you would love the bargains that you'll get for homes in this area.
Brentwood is commonly known for its lower crime rate and better communities feel. I would say the cost of living is quite fair. I would definitely choose Brentwood over the other especially if you have a family to raise, security in this area is recommendable. | | Sutter Delta Medical Center. it is one of the biggest medical institution in the area. The hospital provides quite a number of services, from cancer care to bone and Joint care. I would definitely recommend this local hospital any time

Situated at 5175 Somerville Rd. it includes remains of coal mines and some sites of the long gone coal mining areas like Somersville, Nortonville and e.t.c
Antioch Water Park
It is located at 4701 Lone Tree Way. A water park full of fun for people of any age, it has got a variety of slides and pools

To be sincere, Antioch California doesn't seem like the best place to raise a family. With the kind of crime that usually occurs, puts everyone at risk. I think the police should put in more effort than they are. From another perspective, the hard work and determination of the good residents show that there is still hope in making Antioch a better place.
