Denver is a dry town in terms of climate. The summers are perfect. There is wind and breeze and it's not a scorching heat like other places. The winter is complex. There is snow but there is also sun which leads to strange outfits such as coats with shorts and flip flops. The most popular crimes in Denver are drug or alcohol related. Most of Denver seems to currently have a DUI OR DWI or has had one in the past. You most likely will not encounter hoards of violent crime unless you are involved in a latin american gang.Avoid Colfax. The only parts of Colfax that are not dangerous are the parts near the 16th street Mall. Colfax is rife with addicts and alcoholics and prostitutes and all of the seemier sides of life of every race and class. The best parts of Denver are the neighborhoods surrounding the University of Denver. There is plants and trees and nooks to relax. Sloan Lake is an excellent place to relax.Capital hill neighborhood is home to gypsy cafe and vegan restaurants as well as governmental buildings and the central history of Colorado. This town is mostly filled with educated young to middle aged people. Alot of families live in Denver. If you are elderly, or blue collar you may have trouble fitting in. Everyone is fit. Denver is the town for jogging, racquetball, tennis, bicycling and even strenuous winter sports. Hockey fans will enjoy Denver. Skiers will enjoy being thirty minutes from the mountains. If you don't care for the environment or your physical well being Denver is not the place for you.

The sixteenth street mall is a unique mall because it allows one to observe diversity and participate in multiple cultures at the same time. You can walk for ten minutes on sixteeth street without even noticing how far you've walked.Jason Thai Asian Bistro is one of the best restaurants Denver has to offer. It has fantastic thai and japanese choices and an extensive... very extensive wine collection.Denver schools are excellent. They are constantly improving. The singles social life and nightlife activities are always in full swings. Sixteenth street mall is rife with things to do.

There is a central highway in Denver however, the unusual noises you will mostly have to contend with are the sounds of frat parties. Most of Denver is convered in college residences.Compared to Centennial or Highlands Ranch Denver has more interaction with people and a lower cost of living.Porter Adventist Hospital is the best hospital in all four or five places I've lived. It provides internet access for extended stays, and cable television. It also has the best medical staff that denver can offer.Lodo is a great nightlife spot. There are bars, kareoke place, and pool halls. There is also a really huge Dave and Busters that will provide endless entertainment
General comments
This town feels like a dream. There is a river that runs through. There are amazing parts. Confluence park has the platt river running through it. Everyone is fit and active. It feels like a meditative video. The weather is disturbing in that after the storm there is always deep deep sunlight. It feels warm. It is family oriented. You don't have to be afraid of your kid running around or riding their bike. It's quaint. It feels like a brand new city.
