The temperatures in Jonesville, Michigan are usually between 70 and 80 degrees, although you can expect to see a few days during summer when temps raise into the 90's due to the humidity. In spring and fall, temperatures are usually in between 50 and 70 degrees. In winter, temperatures can dip below zero thus winters can get pretty cold in this town during December, January and February. It does rain during summer, spring and fall, especially in June. You can also expect to see snow on the ground during winter, there have been years when the residents in this town have seen between 10 and 15 inches of snow on the ground during winter. The crime rate in Jonesville is a little lower than other Michigan cities, but you will hear or see major and minor crimes occasionally happen in this town. Thefts and Burglaries are the two most common major crimes that occur here, but there have also been a couple of assaults and a few auto thefts reported within the past year. You can expect to hear about common minor crimes happening in Jonesville, as well. For example, traffic violations, a couple of vandalism situations and a few domestic violence issues have occurred and been reported over the past year. There are some luxurious houses on Milnes and Adams Road, many of these homes are fairly new or have been updated in a modern success manner. These roads are located east of U.S. 12. There are a lot of residents who would say this area of town is one of the best areas in Jonesville. You can find older houses on Water and Wright Street, many of these homes are much cheaper and could use some updating to be considered modern housing. These streets are located just west of U.S. 12 and a lot of residents say this is one of the bad areas of town. The people seem to be very nice or at least all the people we have ever spoken with were kind and friendly. There are mostly white people living in Jonesville, but you can expect to see a few people from other races, too. There are slightly more women than men living here. In addition, about half the residents are married or were married in the past. The average age of the residents living here is about 35-40. If you don't mind living in a town that sees inches of snow in the winter and if you are married with or without children than this town would be perfect for you.

General comments
The town seems to be clean and relaxing, I would say the downtown area could use a little updating, but it has always been clean whenever we have visited this town. The residents seem to be very friendly and have always treated us with respect and kindness. Jonesville has a great event every year, it is called Jonesville Riverfest, many of my family members attend this event and enjoy the time we spend in this town. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who lives in Michigan or is just visiting the area.
